Downregulation of BLID in breast cancer has been correlated with poor disease-free survival and overall survival. We used miRNA arrays to study the effects of BLID knockdown on miRNA expression profiles in breast cancer cells. The Affymetrix GeneChip miRNA 3.0 arrays were used for miRNomics analysis of MDA-MB-231, LCC9 and MCF7 breast cancer cells stably transfected with BLID Mission shRNA lentiviral clone (SHCLNV,TRCN0000254447) or control shRNA particles (SHC202V, Mission@TRC2 pLKO.5-puro). MicroRNA profiles were obtained from three microRNA arrays per treatment group (BLID shRNA knockdown vs. control shRNA) in each cell line.
