资源简介:
Recently, a novel atypical porcine Pestivirus (APPV) with significant distribution was described in the US. Subsequent screening of the German pig sector showed a high prevalence of APPV with high variability among strains. A very high prevalence of atypical porcine pestiviruses, related to the recently in the US described atypical porcine pestivirus was found in German pig herds with no obvious link to a clear disease syndrome. While a high overall genetic diversity of virus strains was observed, the viruses were rather homogeneous within a farm. The new data and the now available APPV isolate will allow further investigations to explore the pathogenic and diagnostic impact of those viruses.
