Schar et al. report a termitophile blow fly in the genus Rhyncomya (Calliphoridae: Rhiniinae) with larvae socially integrated in termite colonies. The sophisticated morphological, chemical and behavioural adaptations documented were previously unknown in the megadiverse radiation of schizophoran flies.
