Proba 2 Dual Segmented Langmuir Probe (DSLP)

The PROBA-2 Dual Segmented Langmuir Probe (DSLP) experiment was developed by a Czech consortium, led by the Institute of Atmospheric Physics, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. In combination with SWAP and LYRA, it provides remote observations of solar activity with direct in-situ measurements of basic plasma properties. Consists of two Langmuir probes, DSLP measures the ions and electrons in the dawn and dusk sectors of the upper terrestrial ionosphere and their dynamic variations on a time scale up to 1 second: the density in the range of 102-106 particles cm-3, the electron temperature in the 500 – 3000 K range, and the satellite pontential in the range of −5 V to 5 V. DSLP shares some interface, power and processing resources with TPMU.

由捷克共和国科学院大气物理研究所领衔的捷克联合体研发了PROBA-2双段Langmuir探针（DSLP）实验。该实验与SWAP和LYRA相结合，能够进行对太阳活动的远程观测，并实现基本等离子体性质的直接原位测量。DSLP由两个Langmuir探针组成，能够测量晨昏带高层地球电离层中的离子和电子，以及它们在1秒时间尺度上的动态变化：包括102-106个粒子每立方厘米的密度、500-3000开尔文的电子温度和-5V至5V的卫星电位。DSLP与TPMU共享部分接口、电源和数据处理资源。
