For over a year, the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic impacted the lives of people around the world, requiring them to isolate and stay socially distant for months on end. As the end of the pandemic inches closer in 2021, many individuals in the United States intend to treat themselves. While approximately 15 percent of U.S. consumers were ready to splurge on entertainment out of home at any time, roughly 45 percent stated they would hold off until the government lifts restrictions or until the virus stops spreading.
