Global production capacity of vinyl chloride monomer 2015-2025

In 2015, global production capacity of vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) amounted to nearly 7.9 million metric tons per annum. By 2020, figures increased to 8.5 million metric tons per annum. VCM production capacity worldwide is expected to increase by 20 percent in 2025, reaching approximately 10.2 million metric tons per annum.
