Microbial community analysis of thermophilic hydrogen-producing consortia under increasing NaCl concentrations

This study investigates the structural and functional changes in microbial communities during gradual adaptation to increasing NaCl concentrations (1.0%, 2.0%, 3.5%) using 16S rRNA gene sequencing. The enriched consortia were obtained from wetland soil and cultivated on food waste-derived media under thermophilic conditions.
