Single cell-RNA datasets from cell lines and dissociated mouse and maize tissues

A generally applicable method to profile RNA from single cells and nulclei with high sensitivity and throughput is desirable.To demonstrate the potential, cells and nuclei from different sources and species were acquired and profiled. Overall design: Human and mouse cell lines were used to benchmark gene detection sensitivity against other platforms or as spike-ins to demonstrate minimal multiplet formation in the same experiments. Tissues from mouse and maize were directly lysed to collect nuclei, demonstrating the method's applicability to complex multicellular structures.
