Whole-genome sequencing of Xanthomonas euvesicatoria strain XP10, the causative agent of bacterial leaf spot disease on pepper (Capsicum spp.) in the Mekong Delta

This project reports the whole-genome sequencing of Xanthomonas euvesicatoria strain XP10, which was identified as the causative agent of bacterial leaf spot disease on pepper (Capsicum spp.) in the Mekong Delta, Vietnam. Genomic data were generated using the Illumina NovaSeq 6000 platform. These raw sequencing datasets will provide valuable resources for studying pathogen diversity, host adaptation, and the development of eco-friendly disease management strategies for sustainable pepper production.
