Deep western overturning transport is defined as the overturning transport derived from the western boundary ocean bottom pressure gradient, or its equivalent, below and relative to 1000 m. I produced the deep western overturning transport to represent the interannual variability of the AMOC and reveal its long-term trends at the western boundary. This dataset contains four time series of deep western overturning transport at Line RAPID-Scotian (T42), Line W (T39), RAPID-MOCHA (T26), and MOVE array (T16). Notehere that T26 and T16 are absolute transports, while T39 and T42 are transport anomalies. The estimated uncertainties on the daily time series are 1.2 Sv, 4.6 Sv, 1.5 Sv, and 1.4 Sv, respectively from T42 to T16.
