In recent years, the concept of platform economics has been widely disseminated and applied, among which food delivery platform economy is one of the main types of platform economics. In addition to the characteristics of rapid development, large scale and large number of participants, the food delivery platform economy also represents a typical development model of platform economics under the dominance of capital. It involves the complex relationships between platform organizations and multiple user subjects, and can comprehensively reflect the main operating logic and characteristics of the current platform economy.

The restaurant and food delivery merchant data launched by the CnOpenData Data Team covers information of 25 cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an, Chongqing and others.
