JIDP. JUDODI. JUDO INTELLECTUAL DISABILTY PROJECT: DATA SET SOCIODEMOGRAFIC, ANTROPOMETRIC, PHYSICAL FITNESS AND QUALITY OF LIFE

This dataset compiles pre–post measurements from a multicentre study evaluating an adapted judo program for adolescents and young people with intellectual disability across Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Ireland, and Switzerland. Participants were allocated to experimental (judo) or control (usual activities) groups and assessed at baseline (Pre) and follow-up (Post). The file (CSV, long format) includes an anonymous participant ID, group and time indicators, country and center, demographics (sex, age), anthropometrics (height, weight, waist circumference; BMI derivable), and outcomes covering quality of life (KIDSLIFE total and, where available, domains) and physical fitness (handgrip strength, 6-minute walk distance, standing long jump, and a cardiorespiratory index). Data were collected using harmonized protocols by trained assessors, screened for plausible ranges, and de-identified prior to sharing. The structure supports reproducible analyses with mixed-effects models (e.g., Group × Time) and covariate adjustment. A brief README and codebook are recommended for variable definitions and units; the dataset is intended for reuse in evaluation, benchmarking, and meta-analytic synthesis.
