Wong is a fictional sorcerer and mentor to Doctor Strange in Doctor Strange and the extended Marvel franchise. He was the librarian at Kamar-Taj, where he taught Doctor Strange to wield his sorcery, before moving to New York to protect the New York Sanctum.
