Maturation-Specific Effects of a Technique-Focused Kicking Intervention in Elite Youth Football Players

This repository contains the anonymised participant-level dataset, MATLAB analysis code, and README/data dictionary supporting the statistical analyses reported in the manuscript “Maturation-Specific Effects of a Technique-Focused Kicking Intervention in Elite Youth Football Players”. The dataset includes pre- and post-intervention outcomes for elite youth academy football players, grouped according to estimated maturation status as before- or after-peak height velocity. Outcomes include maximal ball speed, mean kicking accuracy, and error ellipse variables describing endpoint dispersion. Raw trial-level data and potentially identifiable participant information are not included because the participants were youth academy players and the data are subject to privacy and GDPR-related restrictions.
