WTZ Ost 2.0 - Innovation Matters

Research and development are central to identifying current societal challenges and developing solutions. To achieve this goal, a cross-disciplinary, open approach to innovation and close mutual exchange with social and economic actors are of particular importance. This is the only way to identify current environmental, economic and societal problems and to develop innovative solutions for sustainable growth. This applies in particular to societal challenges such as those identified by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Against this background, the cooperation project is dedicated to supporting the exchange of knowledge to solve societal challenges and promote social innovation, together with the active involvement of transfer partners from business and society. The project is explicitly interdisciplinary and cross-institutional. A special concern of the project is the exchange of knowledge with non-profit organisations as well as young start-ups and academic spin-offs. On the one hand, this ensures that current questions and problems are taken into account in research; on the other hand, it contributes to the success of innovative companies and social actors. The focus of the cooperation project is the establishment of topic-specific transfer networks between scientists from all disciplines and transfer partners as well as the implementation-oriented communication of open innovation methods and the topic-specific development of transfer projects and services. The respective subprojects should - under the set guiding themes - explicitly intertwine and build on each other. The topics of education, health and care, climate and housing form the background for the project.

Forschung und Entwicklung sind zentral, um aktuelle gesellschaftliche Herausforderungen zu identifizieren und Lösungsansätze zu erarbeiten. Zur Erreichung dieses Ziels sind ein disziplinenübergreifender offener Innovationsansatz und der enge wechselseitige Austausch mit gesellschaftlichen und wirtschaftlichen Akteuren von besonderer Bedeutung. Nur so können aktuelle Probleme in Umwelt, Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft identifiziert und innovative Lösungen für ein nachhaltiges Wachstum entwickelt werden. Dies gilt insbesondere für gesellschaftliche Herausforderungen, wie sie mit den United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) identifiziert wurden.
Vor diesem Hintergrund widmet sich dieses Kooperationsvorhaben, unter der aktiven Einbindung von Transferpartnern aus Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft, der Unterstützung von Wissensaustausch zur Lösung gesellschaftlicher Herausforderungen und Förderung sozialer Innovation. Das Projekt ist dabei explizit interdisziplinär und institutionenübergreifend angelegt. Ein besonderes Anliegen des Projektes ist der Wissensaustausch mit Non-Profit Organisationen sowie jungen Start-Ups und akademischen Spin-Offs. Dadurch wird einerseits gewährleistet, dass aktuelle Frage- und Problemstellungen in der Forschung berücksichtigt werden, andererseits soll zum Erfolg innovativer Unternehmen und gesellschaftlicher Akteure beigetragen werden.
Im Mittelpunkt des Kooperationsvorhabens stehen die Etablierung themenspezifischer Transfernetzwerke zwischen WissenschafterInnen aus allen Fachdisziplinen und TransferpartnerInnen sowie die umsetzungsorientierte Vermittlung offener Innovationsmethoden und die themenspezifische Entwicklung von Transferprojekten und Services. Die jeweiligen Teilprojekte sollen - unter den gesetzten Leitthemen - explizit ineinandergreifen und aufeinander aufbauen. Die Themen Bildung, Gesundheit und Pflege, Klima und Wohnen bilden den Hintergrund für das Projekt.

研究与发展是洞察当前社会挑战并构思解决方案的核心。为实现此目标，采取跨学科、开放的创新途径，并与社会各界及经济主体进行密切的互动交流，显得尤为关键。唯有如此，方能辨识当前环境、经济与社会问题，并孕育可持续增长的创新解决方案。此原则尤其适用于由联合国可持续发展目标（SDGs）所确定的各类社会挑战。在此背景下，本合作项目致力于在商务与社会伙伴的积极参与下，促进知识交流以解决社会问题，并推动社会创新。项目性质明确为跨学科与跨机构。特别关注与非营利组织、初创企业及学术衍生企业之间的知识交换。一方面，确保研究工作中充分考虑当前的问题与疑问；另一方面，助力创新企业和社会主体的成功。合作项目的焦点在于构建学科间与合作伙伴之间的主题特定转移网络，以及开放创新方法的实施导向传播和主题特定转移项目与服务的开发。各子项目应遵循既定指导主题，明确交织并相互依托。教育、健康与护理、气候与住房等议题构成了项目的背景。
