Comparison of biodiversity in Mediterranean pulse-based cropping systems

This comparison synthesizes published empirical evidence about the effects of different alternative management practices on biodiversity in pulse-based cropping systems in Mediterranean climate areas.
Effect sizes were not retrieved from the primary studies but computed post-hoc. They base on the following functions:
ln(Xi) = natural logarithm of the intervention number
ln(Xc) = natural logarithm of the comparator number
lnR = effect size by means of natural logarithm of response ratio = ln(Xi) – ln(Xc)
