Litopenaeus vannamei hepatopancreas and muscle Transcriptome. Penaeus vannamei

Illumina RNA-seq transcriptome obtained from Litopenaeus vannamei shrimp. Muscle and hepatopancreas tissues were sampled from shrimp submitted to a genetic improvement program for weight gain and fast growth and exposed to White Spot Syndrome Virus (WSSV). The main goals are the identification of polymorphisms (SNP) and differential expression gene analysis for both tissues. The data generated here may be also be applied for close related species and bring a new set of information to a species with no genome available yet.
