Sequencing Human and Canine Bacteremia Staphylococcus pseudintermedius isolates

We sequenced 8 Staphylococcus pseudintermedius isolates (4 from human bacteremia infections, 4 from canine bacteremia infections) with both MinION and MiSeq, in order to create complete whole-genome hybrid assemblies. These will provide information for analysis of virulence genes and potential virulence factors important to these infections in canines and humans.
