Re-evaluating Wheeler's "It from Bit" Theory within the Context of Extended Cyclic Cosmology and Information Transmission Lines

John Archibald Wheeler’s “It from Bit” doctrine posits that quantum information, rather than matter, lies at the foundation of physical reality. However, this theory remains insufficient in explaining the exceptionally low entropy order at the initial conditions of the universe and the ontological origins of the “dark” components (dark matter and dark energy). This study proposes two fundamental corrections and additions to Wheeler’s information theory: Memory of the Cyclic Universe: It is argued that dark matter and dark energy are actually the information mass inherited from the residual system of a previous universe. Cosmic Transmission Networks: It is asserted that cosmic filaments at the macro scale and strings at the micro scale serve as the primary transmission lines of this informational structure across the universe. Thus, the universe is modeled not as the product of a chaotic explosion, but as a dynamic information network that is cyclic, self-encoding, and preserved by a negative mass balance.
