FACTORS ENSURING ECOLOGICAL SUSTAINABILITY IN THE REGIONAL ECONOMY

This article analyzes the theoretical and practical aspects of ensuring ecological sustainability in the regional economy. The interrelationship between maintaining ecological balance, rational use of natural resources, and economic development is scientifically substantiated. In addition, the main factors contributing to sustainable development in the regional economy are studied, including environmental policy, innovative technologies, green investments, and institutional mechanisms. Based on the results of the research, it is concluded that improving economic mechanisms, ensuring efficient use of resources, and developing an environmental management system play a crucial role in ensuring ecological sustainability.
