This dataset collects dark current simulation data of photodetectors under different bias voltages and measured dark current data at their actual operating voltages, with a total data size of 3.4 MB. This dataset provides critical support for photodetector design optimization, performance calibration and algorithm validation. Dark current refers to the inherent current generated by a photodetector under dark (non-illuminated) conditions, and is one of the key parameters determining detector performance, particularly its low-light detection capability and dynamic range. The simulation component of this dataset is built upon semiconductor physics theory and the actual physical structure of the photodetector, and a numerical model of dark current was established using professional simulation tools such as TCAD. The simulation systematically scanned core variables including key device dimensions, generating dark current density distributions under various bias voltages, and uncovered the generation mechanism and dominant factors of dark current. For the measured part, accurate measurements were conducted on physical detector samples using a high-precision source meter, yielding authentic and reliable measured dark current values. The dataset includes dark current-voltage simulation characteristic curves and real-time data records from dark current tests. This data can be used to evaluate the intrinsic noise level of photodetectors, providing fundamental support for the design of low-noise receiving systems. The overall data size is approximately 3.5 MB.
