Sludge A was derived from a plant producing oils and fats for confectionery, and Sludge B from a meat-processing plant. The sludge samples were subjected to cavitation and aerobic digestion. Bacteria in the digesters at 20 and 30 oC were analyzed based on the V3-V4 region of the 16S rRNA gene.
