Shown either as an average or median of the annual income for residents in the area. Consists of income from employment and income from business activities. The figures show gross income. In addition to salary income, income from employment also includes income from pensions, sickness benefits and other taxable benefits. As of data for 2020, income from work and pensions from other Nordic countries is included in the statistics. This makes comparisons back in time misleading as income from those who commute to Denmark was previously not included in the statistics. The figures are shown in current prices, which means that they are not inflation-adjusted. Shown for the group of gainfully employed 20–64. The variable is broken down by gender.
