Meteorological Data Set of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Urban Megaregion National Observation and Research Station for Eco-Environmental Change (Beijing Urban Ecosystem Research Station, Chinese Academy of Sciences) from 2015 to 2023

Using the automatic observation system of the Beijing Urban Ecosystem Research Station Meteorological Observation Station from 2015 to 2023, raw data was collected. After data processing, quality control, and evaluation, a total of 19 elements and more than 100 indicators were publicly reported on a monthly and annual scale for the 9 years from 2015 to 2023. Specific monitoring indicators include atmospheric pressure, water vapor pressure, sea level pressure, temperature, dew point temperature, relative humidity, precipitation, wind speed, 10 minute average wind speed, 2-minute average wind speed, hourly extreme wind speed, surface temperature, 5 cm soil temperature, 10 cm soil temperature, 15 cm soil temperature, 20 cm soil temperature, 40 cm soil temperature, 60 cm soil temperature, 100 cm soil temperature, etc. This dataset can be used to explore the collaborative changes in urban areas, reveal the formation mechanisms of urban climate characteristics, environmental pollution and improvement, ecological degradation and restoration, and gain a deeper understanding of the coupling mechanism of the "social economic natural" composite ecosystem. To provide solid data support and guarantee for the comprehensive management of the ecological environment in the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region, the construction of a regional integrated ecological security pattern, and global change research.
