UPCB herbarium - Universidade Federal de Paraná - Herbário Virtual REFLORA

The UPCB herbarium was established in 1952, and it is currently associated to the Department of Botany at the Federal University of Paraná. Its collections include about 98,000 specimens of plants and fungi, most of them representing Brazilian species and with a focus on the flora of southern Brazil. Among the families of vascular plants, its main collections include Melastomataceae, Passifloraceae, Myristicaceae, Orchidaceae and pteridophytes. The collection is totally databased, an about 40% of the specimens were digitized. These data are available through several online resources, such as Reflora, SpeciesLink, SibBr, and JABOT.
