Replication Data and Code for "Financial Conditions and Destination Resilience under Global Shocks: Intra-OIC versus Extra-OIC Trade"
收藏资源简介:
This replication package contains the derived data, analysis code, model outputs, robustness checks, and documentation supporting the study “Financial Conditions and Destination Resilience under Global Shocks: Intra-OIC versus Extra-OIC Trade.” The study examines bilateral trade adjustment across OIC economies during the Global Financial Crisis and COVID-19 using BACI HS92 bilateral trade data for 1995–2024. The empirical analysis uses PPML specifications with exporter-year and country-pair fixed effects and evaluates the roles of commodity composition, historical OIC membership, regional trade agreements, and exporter financial conditions. Financial-condition analyses use lagged domestic credit to the private sector and exchange-rate instability derived from World Development Indicators. CEPII Gravity data are used for trade-agreement and geographic information. Raw third-party BACI and CEPII datasets are not redistributed in this archive; the package contains author-derived analytical datasets, scripts, results, and documentation necessary to trace the empirical analysis.
