This dataset includes soil microbial community data from a study investigating the impact of slope aspect on the effects of different fertilization treatments in a degraded alpine grassland under restoration. The data were collected from sunny and shady slopes on the northeastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and characterize microbial community composition through PLFA (Phospholipid Fatty Acid) profiles and high-throughput sequencing. The study explores the role of slope aspect in modulating microbial community structure and functionality under various fertilization treatments, such as inorganic and microbial fertilizers, and identifies key environmental and enzymatic factors associated with microbial responses.
