Antenna: BiggIR vertical, 10 meters high, with 33 ground radials, each 10 meters long. Omni-directional.
Receiver: OpenHPSDR Mercury with Alexis bandpass filter.
Software: PowerSDR OpenHPSDR mRX PS v3.38 (6/9/16), Virtual Audio Cable 4.13.0.5811, Fldigi 4.1.08, MS Windows 10 Home 1809.
Frequency reference: Trimble Thunderbolt GPSDO. Mercury locked to reference. Personal computer sound card not locked to reference and may have a higher error. Devices located in a basement that does not experience wide temperature swings.
Measurement procedure: PowerSDR set for USB with a frequency of 4.999 MHz. Bandwidth filters set to 950 Hertz and 1050 Hertz, yielding a 100 Hertz bandwidth centered on the 1,000 tone generated by the WWV 5 MHz carrier. Some difficult initially configuring VAC and Fldigi. Normally use Spectrum Lab. Fldigi ran in 'frequency analysis' with data collected into a .csv file.
