Carrick Hill habitat restoration project and linkage of fragmented habitat Part 1

The project aims to remove Weeds of National Significance to enhance fragmented remnant Grey Box (Eucalyptus microcarpa) bush-land and protect threatened and regionally significant species within the Mt Lofty Ranges. The team will gain skills in re-vegetation of providence native species to provide critical habitat and encourage natural regeneration. They will learn a range of techniques in weed control for Weeds of National Significance, erosion mitigation to protect remnant vegetation and conduct flora and fauna surveys to assist in future management strategies to improve habitat for local flora and fauna on the site whilst gaining a broader understanding of the overall biodiversity of the Carrick Hill bushland.
