The liver-specific long noncoding RNA FAM99B inhibits ribosome biogenesis and cancer progression through cleavage of dead-box Helicase 21

The evidence we provide highlights a novel mechanism by which FAM99B and DDX21 regulate HCC, and we provide a new approach for the application of lncRNA in gene therapy. Overall design: Whole-transcriptome sequencing (RNA-Seq) was performed to identify the downstream target genes regulated by both FAM99B and DDX21 in Huh7 cells. Chromatin immunoprecipitation followed by sequencing (ChIP-seq) was performed using indicated antibodies to study the DDX21 status and binding sites of RPs in Huh 7 cells.
