The OC forcing and outputs of the reactive transport model for assessing the N legacy effect in coastal Baltic Sea

This repository is used as a database to support the study by Hellemann et al submitted to Limonology and Oceanology. It contains the R code of the reactive transport model used in this study and also the OC forcing and model outputs including the NH4 pool and NH4 flux across sediment-water interface in coastal Baltic Sea. Specificly, two files are attached: 1. Data supplement to Hellenmann et al. xlsx This data file constains three sheets to summerize all data used in the study:(1)the sheet of 'base scenario' - the OC forcing and model outputs of two scenarios: Present scenario and Pre-industrial scenario; (2) the sheet of 'Sensitivity analysis' - the outputs of the model during the sensitivity analysis of salinity, OC loading rate and sedimentation rates under oxic and unoxic bottom conditions; (3) the sheet of 'Model verification' - the porewater data collected from the storfjaden vs the model outputs of OC contents, NH4, Fe(II) and SO4. 2. The core code of the RTM in R used to do all needed simulations. More discussions about these data could be found in Hellenmann et al.(under review).
