ATAC sequencing was performed to evaluate epigenetic changes induced by the bone microenvironment. We found a global epigenetic reprogramming of ER+ cancer cells deriving from bone which drives stemness and endocrine resistance SCP2 (Single Cell-derived population #2) cells that derived from MCF7 cells were injected to bone via Intra-iliac artery injection (IIA). SCP2-Bo cell line was generated from bone lesions and passaged in parallele with the control SCP2 cells in vitro. ATACseq was performed over multiple passages (2 to 12) on both samples.
