COVID-19 hospitalization GWASs, including HGI-B1 (hospitalized vs. non-hospitalized) and HGI-B2 (hospitalized vs. general population) are compared for effect sizes of each SNP using Z-test with/without normalization.
The two GWASs were downloaded from HGI (release 4), and samples used to generate the two GWASs were with mixed ancestries. Only SNPs with MAF>0.01 and imputation score > 0.6 were kept.
The aim for the comparison is to identify potential COVID-19 risk SNPs showing ancestry-linked effects.
