The data present research results being part of the OPUS-22 project entitled “In search of new markers of male fertility in cattle. Aquaporins expression in the reproductive organs and sperm of the bulls (Bos taurus)” financed by the National Science Center in Poland (grant no. 2021/43/B/NZ9/00204). The aim of this part of the project was (i) to determine the location of classical aquaporins (AQP0, AQP1, AQP2, AQP4, AQP5 and AQP6) in the male reproductive system - from the testis to the vas deferens in cattle and (ii) to analyze changes in the expression of these proteins during animal growth and development.
This dataset contains:
microphotographs of immunohistochemical staining of AQP0, AQP1, AQP2, AQP4, AQP5 and AQP6;
Western blot images and blots in an ImageLab software of AQPs.
All necessary information regarding the above data and a kind of instruction for viewing them are included in the file README.docx.
