Autophagy induction enhances HR-mediated gene editing

This study demonstrates that autophagy induction significantly improves HR-mediated gene editing. this approach is effective with nickase Cas9 and dead Cas9, minimizing off-target effects and indels. These findings suggest that autophagy-based HR editing has the potential to improve the efficacy of gene therapy strategies in vitro and in vivo.
