资源简介:
Overall goal: To identify genes involved in postnatal longitudinal muscle growth through misregulation by neonatal brachial plexus injury leading to contracture formation. Purpose of analysis: To generate a transcriptional profile of mice given unilateral neonatal brachial plexus injuries. Experimental structure: The transcriptional profiles generated from the RNA-Seq analysis would be compared as neonatally-denervated biceps muscle versus the contralateral control to identify genes regulating postnatal longitudinal muscle growth. RNA-Seq analysis of total RNA isolated from whole biceps muscle (neonatally-denervated and contralateral control) 3 weeks following C5-T1 neonatal brachial plexus injury was carried out to generate a transcriptional profile of a model of postnatal muscle growth versus arrested growth leading to contracture formation.
