Unveiling the Shadows

The research utilised a mixed-methods design using a standardised Google Form questionnaire to investigate experiences and perceptions of male sexual assault. Using non-probability convenience sampling, data were gathered from 175 participants, mainly young adults between 19 and 25 years, who volunteered.
Data analysis utilised quantitative and qualitative methods, including descriptive statistics, correlation tests, and thematic analysis. Correlation coefficients and chi-square tests were utilised to examine statistical correlations between demographic variables and perceptions among males on sexual assault.
The approach privileged ethical concerns, guaranteeing anonymity and sensitive subjects, with recognition of possible convenience sampling limitations. Through the integration of robust analytical methods, the study sought to offer a detailed understanding of male sexual assault experience, challenges, and support requirements.
