Bacterial strains from healthy human faeces. Oscillospiraceae bacterium

The diverse microbial community inhabiting the human gut provides a range of functionalities relevant to host health. However, most species in the gut remain uncultured. Here, a genome-directed isolation approach was applied to isolate uncultured bacterial strains to expand our understanding of microbial diversity in the human gut.
