<b>Ecotourism Area Sensory Experience and its Mechanism of Influence on Psychological Restoration</b>

With the accelerated pace of modern life and the increasing prominence of mental health issues, the restorative function of tourist destinations has become a research hotspot. Based on Restorative Environment Theory (RET), this study explores the mechanism by which sensory experience (Visual experience, Auditory experience, Olfactory experience, and Tactile experience) affects psychological restoration. It introduces place attachment (place dependence and place identity) as mediating variables and gender as a moderating variable to construct a theoretical model. A questionnaire survey method was adopted, and a total of 462 valid samples were collected, including 228 males and 234 females. Structural equation modeling (SEM) and multi-group analysis methods were applied to validate the theoretical model.
