Long read, high-coverage transcriptome sequencing of Monkeypox virus and CV-1 host cell line on Oxford Nanopore Technologies flowcells in different time points of infection

Monkeypox virus isolate obtained from human patient was propagated in triplicate samples on CV-1 line. Total RNA was isolated after 1, 2, 4, 6, 12 and 24 hours post infection. After poly(A) RNA selection RNA samples were prepared and sequenced according to the direct cDNA and direct RNA sequencing library preparation methods of SQK-DCS109 and SQK-RNA002 kits respectively. After quality screening reads were mapped either to the CV-1 cell line reference genome or to the Monkeypox virus reference genome and .bam files have been uploaded.
