Acadia National Park day-hike routes (GPS tracks and waypoints, KML)

Seventeen day-hike routes in Acadia National Park (Mount Desert Island and the Schoodic Peninsula), Maine, as KML files. Each file contains a GPS track (sometimes a few related tracks) plus labeled waypoints for one route. The tracks were generated by routing along OpenStreetMap trail geometry (snapshot 10 July 2026) so they align closely with renderers that use the same data, such as Organic Maps. They are intended for offline navigation on a phone: import a file into Organic Maps or any KML-capable app, and download the offline map of Maine to use without cell coverage. The set includes one longer four-summit loop (Gorham–Champlain–Dorr–Cadillac, ~11.7 mi) and sixteen shorter routes across the island's summits, ponds, cliffs, and coast, ranging from ~0.9 to ~4.1 miles. Filenames include the approximate walking distance; elevations noted in waypoints are summit heights. Trail geometry © OpenStreetMap contributors, licensed under the Open Database License (ODbL).
