资源简介:
Ecological memory is an integral part of plant responses to environmental change. How epigenetic mechanisms control somatic short- and long-term drought memory in long-lived organisms such as trees remains unknown. This study aims to explore ecological memory by analysing changes in DNA methylation, as well as hormonal and transcriptomic profiles, in response to induce stress. A 5-week drought stress followed by one week of re-watering was applied to two genotypes of black poplar (P.nigra), PG31 and DRA38, as well as specific P. tremula x P. alba epitypes (RNAi-dml, RNAi-ddm1, and OX-dml). The data include multiple lists of differentially expressed genes (RNA-seq) and/or genes that have undergone changes in DNA methylation (WGBS) and/or alternative splicing events (RNA-seq). The mapping and annotation was done on P. trichocarpa 4.1. Functional enrichments were performed on metascape to identify the biological pathways and processes involved.
