Interacting temporal scales shape fish acoustic activity

This repository contains the R scripts and datasets used to analyse the temporal dynamics of fish acoustic activity in a coastal marine reserve in southeastern Brazil. The analyses include diel, lunar, and seasonal variation in calling activity, acoustic feature analyses, heatmaps, LOESS temporal trends, PERMANOVA/PCoA analyses, and relationships between acoustic parameters and temperature for two dominant fish sonotypes. All scripts were developed in R and are fully reproducible using the provided datasets.
