The present disclosure discloses a cutter assembly (10) for a baler (12) with a main pick-up unit (14). The cutter assembly (10) cooperates with a work vehicle and comprises a cutter bar (18)， an auxiliary pick-up unit (19) and at least one mounting arrangement (20， 22). The cutter bar (18) is selectively movable to a desired position with respect to the baler (12). The desired position is dependent on at least one parameter. The auxiliary pick-up unit (19) is disposed between .the cutter bar (18) and said main pick-up unit (14) of said baler (12). The at least one mounting arrangement (20，22) is configured to cooperate said cutter bar (18) and the auxiliary pick-up unit (14) with said work vehicle and the baler (12).
