Dataset for: Polarization Dynamics in VCSELs Under Sinusoidal Signal Modulation around the Polarization Switching Point
收藏资源简介:
Open Data - Polarization Dynamics in VCSELs Under Sinusoidal Signal Modulation around the Polarization Switching Point This repository contains the MATLAB numerical simulation data and post-processing codesassociated with the publication entitled: "Polarization Dynamics in VCSELs UnderSinusoidal Signal Modulation around the Polarization Switching point". The data are used to generate the figures presented in the associated publication. Content: DatasetsTwo datasets are provided, both containing statistical figures of meritcomputed from time-domain SFM simulations. Each dataset contains a structure "all_results" of fields in the following order: Percentage of polarization switching events (PS) Percentage of X-LP mode dominance Percentage of Y-LP mode dominance Average intensity of the X-LP mode Average intensity of the Y-LP mode Variance of intensity of the X-LP mode Variance of intensity of the Y-LP mode Pearson correlation coefficients following the X-LP mode Pearson correlation coefficients following the Y-LP mode SFM parameter combination used for each simulation point The SFM parameter contains in order: Line enhancement factor Field decay rate Injection current Angle difference Linear phase anisotropy Linear amplitude anisotropy Spin flip relaxation rate Spontaneous emission (noise) modulation frequency modulation amplitude time-step of the simulation Each row of the fields corresponds to a unique combination of the different variables Dataset 1: Result_Data_Figure_3_4_5This dataset is used to generate Figures 3, 4, and 5. The dataset is obtainedfor a fixed modulation amplitude of 0.3. Dataset 2: Result_Data_Figure_6This dataset is used to generate Figure 6. The dataset is obtained for injectioncurrent values of 1.55 and 1.62. ScriptsTwo MATLAB scripts are included to extract and visualize the data: Code 1: Data_Extraction_and_plotting_figure_3_4_5Extracts and plots statistics from Dataset 1 (fixed amplitude, varying current) Code 2: Data_Extraction_and_plotting_figre_6Extracts and plots statistics from Dataset 2 (fixed current, varying amplitude) Contact salah.eddine.guessoum@vub.be martin.virte@vub.be
