Rental Market Survey, 2020

Statistics Norway's rental market survey (LMU) is an annual survey of rent levels. The statistics say something about how the rental market is composed and provide information about the rental price level according to certain divisions of the rental market. The survey provides a overview of the Norwegian rental market. The rental market survey is based on an external assignment and the need for better and more detailed rental statistics in the rental market (Report to the Storting no. 23, 2003-2004). The rental market survey was conducted for the first time in 2005, see Reports 2005/32 and further established as official statistics in 2006. As of 2012, the rental market survey was expanded with the publication of more detailed rent figures.
