PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that there is an increased risk of contamination by saprophyte due to machinery ventilation in a case where a culture tank of one type of metal pressure vessels is used for scale up of culture， and， when operations are made while changing the scale， it is required to change apparatuses so as to match with the changed scale. SOLUTION: A culture device comprises: a water tank in which water is stored; a fine bubble generation device for generating fine bubbles in the water tank; and a culture vessel which has a gas-permeable and hydrophobic film portion， in which a cultured organism and a culture medium are stored， and in which the film portion is disposed in contact with the water in the water tank. The culture device has a simple configuration and ventilation is performed through the film portion， thus there is no risk of contamination by saprophyte. SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
