Greenhouse experiment conducted over the course of one growing season to assess the affect of co-inoculation with AM fungi and N-fixing bacteria in the root zone of switchgrass. We measured plant growth and nutrition, AM fungal community structure and root colonization, and free-living N-fixing bacteria, and whole bacterial community structure, and Nitrogenase gene abundance in root zone soils during different plant phenology phases.
