Prehistoric habitation site, consisting of a circular shaped area delimited by a substantial double-kerbed wall retaining a rubble and earth bank. Monument was partially excavated by Professor S. P. Ó Ríordáin, the portions examined were centred around the standing stone. Surrounding this stone was a rude circle of small boulders inside which were found the bones of an infant whose age was from 6 to 8 years. Some distance to the west and inside a similar circle, a cist was found. In this were adult and infant bones. The prehistoric site is on private land and there is no access to the monument without the landowner's permission.
