Quality control on digital cancer registration

Study population: a random sample of 1,801 cases were extracted from 20,485 cases defined by digital procedures (DP).  Each case was randomly assigned to two registrars (blinded to the DP outcome), who assessed it independently. The registrar-based assessments (RA) was taken for reference in assessing the DP’s performance, considering the concordance between the DP and the RA on cancer status, on topography and morphology.
